Debra Dlug

Dr. Deb grew up on Long Island and has received ongoing chiropractic care since she was an infant. It was after multiple sports injuries that she truly understood the power of chiropractic.

Through spinal adjustments and chiropractic therapies she was able to feel better and return to her activities without the dependence of prescription drugs. She believes in approaching chiropractic care in a holistic way, drawing on nutritional expertise and using various methods such as manipulation/mobilization and soft tissue work not only to the spine but to the extremities as well. Dr. Deb holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport, and gained experience working with minor league athletes, family practices, community health centers and more. It was through teaching non-competitive gymnastics for over 7 years that she saw the importance of chiropractic care as early as in the womb. Through the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association), she has taken extensive courses to learn multiple techniques to treat kids of all ages as well as their family members and practices the Webster Technique for pregnant women.  Being an athlete, she understands the importance of helping the body move and function the way it was made to do and since giving birth to her daughter a year ago, she has first handedly felt the benefits of chiropractic care for pregnant moms, especially postnatal. Each treatment plan is individualized to meet the needs of each patient to reach their health goals. Dr. Deb has a practice in Brookfield, CT and is very excited to be joining Baby Botanica and becoming apart of your health journey.
